The Cardinal might have won if they did not have so many penalties. Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band performed during halftime and that was a great highlight for the game. Santonio Holmes was the dependable guy for the Pittsburg. He was there when Ben Roethlisberger needed him for the catch.
Holmes gave that game-winning touchdown 40 yard grab and completed with nine catches for 131 yards and was always there when the Steelers needed him for the catch. Santonio Holmes is the dependable guy for the Steelers and prefabricated them history for 2009 SuperBowl. The Cardinals prefabricated too many mistakes and had many penalties according to USA this day and therefore they couldn’t win the game. The Steelers played with much confidence and they played like they were the winner from the beginning while the Cardinal prefabricated mistakes and penalties.
The Cardinal was trying to catch up with the scores but it was too late for them. They never came back from the 100 yard saint Harrison notches for the Steelers in the first half according to the USA Today. The Steelers won their sixth Super Bowl title and that is more than any other team in the National Football League. The Steelers are happy with their Lombardi Trophy. Chairman for the Steelers Rooney stated “ he could not remember a Steelers game with such a memorable finish. That takes in an awful lot of great games, but for go-figure endings.” The Cardinal lost their first game as the Steelers won their six titles.

Football might never have looked so good, but there is still doubt whether lingerie clad ladies can sell football. The LFL (Lingerie Football League) is set to kick off this start with ten teams playing seven on seven full contact football. So whats the deal?
The LFL is the latest spin on “sex sells ” sports. Much like the addition of female wrestlers added to the income of pro wrestling tickets, the intent is to use sex appeal to sell sports. The LFL’s founder Mitchell Mortaza claims this wont be a girly girl sport stating ” “If you prance, you’re gonna get killed.” The intent for this league is not a new one. Mortaza has hosted the Lingerie Bowl, in which scantily clad women play for a pay-per-view audience during the Super Bowl halftime, for six years. The expansion to a full time league should not be a surprise.
All players will be semi professional athletes, so there is real competition, but the league had strict stipulations for players, such as a 120-125 lbs weight class, with tiny room for adjustment. Despite the entrance limitation, female athletes are pouring in to try out and none believe the league is an exploit of feminism. One of the players, twenty three year old Melissa Teixeira, stated the game isn’t about sexism stating “I don’t think it’s sexist at all. We’re doing athletic activity as well. We’re not just modeling,”
So far, the LFL has ten cities with teams set to play this start including:
Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New England, San Diego, Seattle and Tampa. Each team will play four games.

The Gym – friend or foe?

The rise of the gym and health club has been unstoppable in
recent years. There’s now a multi-million pound industry focused
around say of the art gyms & health clubs crossways the globe.
And yet, we have never been as unfit or unhealthy as we are
today. W hilst gyms have done a large amount to encourage people
to get fitter and are now more accessible than ever, I am
convinced that they can sometimes do more harm than good in the
battle to “keep fit”. Before you dismiss this idea, read on and
see what you think about the following drawbacks of gyms…
I have seen so many people use gym machines incorrectly that
they are not only training the muscles incorrectly, they are
also sometimes putting themselves at greater risk of sustaining
an injury. Walk into any gym and you won’t have to look far to
find someone using a organisation incorrectly. Whilst most gyms
require people to have an induction prior to training, this is
usually a swift achievement round the gym pointing out the machines
with the odd random demonstration. There’s very tiny follow-up
and monitoring or feedback to ensure people are performing
exercises correctly each time they come to the gym.
The very fact that there are often 20 or more machines in the
gym leads people to believe they should actually use most if not
all of them at some point in their programme, thinking they
should train all the muscles they possibly can or just out of
curiosity. This is a misconception. I often train clients with
nothing more than the correctly-sized stability ball, some
dumbbells and a mat. In a gym, I might use the telegram machines but
I will rarely place a client on a fixed resistance machine. Such
machines can cause the development of faulty recruitment
patterns and muscle imbalances and will most likely de-train
crucial stabiliser muscles required for functional movement
patterns. I have touched on this several times before so won’t
go into detail here.
The equation of having to go to the gym to get fit is a personal
bugbear. How many people do you know who say “Oh I really need
to get fit but just don’t seem to have time to get to the gym”?
My response to this would be “Why do you need to go the gym to
get fit?” There is so much you can do outside of the gym to
improve your fitness and you don’t need tons of equipment to do
it. A easy solution – pull on a pair of trainers and go for a
walk or a jog. In the time it’s taken you to get to the gym, get
changed and get going on the treadmill, it’s been 20 minutes and
you could already have gone out for a 20 minute achievement and be back
at home on the couch (or doing your ab exercises on the living
room floor!). Incorporating more activity into your regular life
is also a step in the right direction and can be easily achieved
with a bit of thought and planning.
It is also hugely discouraging when people go to the gym
religiously and yet see tiny or no progress. This is mostly
due to demand of knowledge about what they should actually be
doing in the gym – how often to go, what exercises to do, how
hard to train, how many sets, how many reps, how long to rest
for, when to go, what to take and when. It is not surprising that
people don’t know what to do when they get there – it’s one
reason why I believe that people should view a individualized trainer
as a way of getting the most value out of their gym membership
rather than an unnecessary additional expense.
And for people who do make progress at the gym – lose weight,
bulk up and get to where they want to be – that’s great. But
going on holiday for a couple of weeks or just missing the odd
session here or there means they easily get out of the routine
of going regularly and begin to lose their fitness. Because of
their previous success, they now associate getting fit with
going to the gym and if they can’t get to the gym, feel they
can’t get fit again until they do. This also works the other way
- if people don’t like going to the gym or find it has never
really helped them get fit despite going regularly, they can
develop negative perceptions of getting fit by associating it
with going to the gym and feel despairing that they’re never
going to reach their goals.
But what’s the alternative? Well, how about spending the money
you’d spend on gym membership on a individualized trainer?
By working with a trainer, you can guarantee you are following
the right programme to achieve your goals. More conveniently
your trainer can often visit you at home and bring any equipment
needed and they can help you plan & increase your regular activity
levels to improve your overall lifestyle without ever setting
foot in a gym.
This doesn’t mean you have to use a trainer each week for the
rest of your life but it’s great to have someone who can update
your programme, give you a boost each now and then and keep you
on track, once you’ve got reached your initial goals.
In the long term, this is a much more sustainable approach to
improving and maintaining your fitness levels but you’ll never
again be healthy to use the excuse of not having time to go to the
gym!

Developed from rehabilitation techniques; Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system. By emphasizing proper breathing, it gets your mind and body in tune with one another.
The originator, Joseph Pilates, was the son of a prize winning gymnast in Germany; were Joseph was born. A sickly child, Joseph began his life’s journey to fitness and health at an primeval age. By the time he was 14 he was modeling for anatomy charts.
In 1912 Joe went to England where he worked as a self defense teacher for Scotland Yard. At the beginning of WWI he was interned with other German nationals. During his internment, Joe refined his intent and trained other internees. In 1918 an influenza epidemic struck England killing thousands. Not one of Joe’s trainees died. He claimed this to be a testament to the effectiveness of his system.
In 1926 Joseph Pilates emigrated to the U.S. and opened his first studio in New York City sharing an address with the New York City Ballet. Along the way he met Clara whom he later married. By 1960 many New York dancers were their clients; including George Balanchine, who later invited Joe to teach his young ballerinas at the New York City Ballet.
When Joe passed away in 1967 only two of his students were known to have opened their own studios. Carola Trier, a close friend and Bob Seed, who tried to take clients from Joe.
More than 80 years later Pilates has become one of the hottest and most accessible workouts around. It’s no wonder as Pilates not only tones and tightens your body, but protects it too.
There are two basic types of Pilates. The most common type (which you can do nearly anywhere) consists of a series of floor exercises preformed on a mat. These use the body’s own weight as resistance, but can also involve resistance bands or the Pilates Magic Circle (a flexible circle prefabricated of rubber or thin metal). The second type relies on two machines called the Cadillac and the Reformer which use a system of springs, levers and pulleys to strengthen and condition. Both types work on the “core” or transverse muscle deep in the abdomen that forms the girdle inside the body. A strong transverse muscle gives you superior endurance in apiece other physical activity. It also protects the lower back and improves posture.
Pilates exercises do produce long lean muscles like a dancer’s, but Pilates isn’t just for girls. Pro football players use Pilates to strengthen their bodies and cores; which helps them absorb the impact of full body tackles without blowing out their knees. During World War I, Joseph Pilates also used his exercises to help wounded soldiers become mobile again.
Today there are Pilates studios all over the world. Mari Winsor has gained much notoriety with her Windsor Pilates fitness program.
The Winsor Pilates program is one of the top selling fitness programs in the world, and is transforming the bodies of men and women all over the globe.

Step 1
Slice the bottom and top off of all Vine Ripened Tomatoes then cut them into 1/4 inch slices. Set aside.
Step 2
Slice the Mozzarella into 1/4 inch slices. Set aside.
Step 3
Take your Basil Leaves and stack them together one on top of the other. Now roll them up into a log and slice horizontally to create thin basil strips. Set aside.
Step 4
Pour 2 Cups Balsamic Vinegar into a pot and whisk while bringing to a boil over Medium Heat. Continue whisking until vinegar is reduced by 1/2 to 2/3 or until it reaches the consistency that you would like. The Balsamic will sweeten as you reduce it, but if you want it sweeter add sugar a teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired sweetness.
Step 5
Now it is time to assemble. This part is entirely up to you, but I like the visual drama of a red, white and green stack. To acheive this, begin with a slice of mozzarella, sprinkle some basil strips onto the Mozzarella, then top with a tomato and a few drops of your balsamic reduction. I usually do 2-3 of these “sets” in one stack then top the stack with a whole basil leaf. Lastly, drizzle a few drops of Balsamic Reduction around the stack(s). This will not only look dazzling, but will give the option of more vinegar based on specific tastes.
Tips & Warnings
When reducing the Balsamic, be careful not to directly inhale the steam coming off the reduction. This doesn’t smell good, and might burn.
This sauce, while cooking, gives off a strong odor. You might want to be in a well ventilated area.

happiness.
I was on the wrestling team. Well, one thing I can tell you about any sport is that the fight is probably the sport that has the least chance. There are only two people on the carpet, so you can not blame your teammates, your mother, your dad or coach. And you know what? There is no time like we do all this inside, we can not say: “It was raining” or “It’s snowing.” It is logical to say, wrestling is the sport with the least chance .
On our team of two world champions, one of them was a world champion five times. We had five people who were national champions, and most of them had national champions in five years in a row. It was a great team. A fighter that was a guy titled John.
John had never been to a tournament high school wrestling, I could remember was rejected because he was a national champion. There was nobody on the ground who could touch him.
It would, pins, and go home. The next game he would do again: pen and they go home.
One day we went to a multiyear agreement with our biggest rivals. John went to the mat, and about one minute and 30 seconds into the match, he tried to perform a certain movement. He rolled over and struck his opponent in the middle of his role. It was noted right away!
The game was over.
I remember on the bus on the way home, one of our teammates tried to console John as saying. “Oh, he was lucky” And John said: “This is so stupid, the opportunity presented itself, and he used it ..”
We had this great character in our wrestling room that the coach had made. “Luck is what happens when the possibility of preparing”
John’s opponent was ready to seize this opportunity. The chances of John were not strong, and he knew it.
But he paid for the right opportunity presented to you, and remember, he beat five-time national champion.
In other words, the real message is “Be prepared!” It is not only the possibility to find, you must be prepared to take to be
