Many living in seek thrill and excitement by engaging in different types of sports. These sports usually require minimum gear, and can take place in nearly any venue. The collective term for these games is urban sports, for they only take place in city areas.
Note that urban sports is not the same thing as extreme sports. City activities are often safe, when caution is exercised. Extreme sports are much more hazardous exercises. They involve public displays of hazardous stunts. There is no strict definition for extreme sports. To participate is to near limits. Of course, in exchange for all the thrill and excitement, a certain amount of risk is necessary.
If you are interested in taking up a sport, take a look at the urban activities in your area. See anything you like? It can be basketball, soccer, skateboarding,etc. The sport is an urban sport as long as it happens in the city. If you notice closely, you will swiftly realize that there are some similarities between these activities.
Before diving in, you need to get yourself some clothing and equipment. Purchase clothing that will help you blend in with others. Sports like ball games don’t require you to own much equipment. You don’t even need special clothing. A cotton T-shirt in good condition and a pair of street shoes might be all you need.
Be sure to dress comfortably for the activity that you have chosen to participate in. If you need to have flexible movements, a pair of casual street shoes will do fine. Today, many major brand obloquy have recognized the demand for urban sports and they have manufactured shoes that fill this need.
The sport that you are engaged in comes with many benefits. You don’t usually need to travel to far out places just to participate in the sport. Just hang around with some friends in the neighborhood and have a good time. As time goes by, you find yourself becoming fitter and healthier.
When you become more comfortable with urban sports, think about joining some extreme sports. Here, conserving gear becomes much more important. Never attempt any hazardous stunts without conserving gear. You might end up with some broken bones!
The more commonly seen activities include mountain biking, roller blading, stunt biking, and many others. There are no concrete boundaries for extreme sports. You will see new sports and games springing up apiece corner. The young seek fresh challenges, and extreme sports seem to be the only avenue that can satisfy their appetite.
A swift word of caution – Do not try to be too impatient why trying out extreme sports. Some stunts do require a clean amount of skill. Begin from the basics if you are new, and seek advice from those who had done what you are about to do now.

Should Christians Watch the Superbowl?
The superbowl has been a longstanding American tradition, but has it become a form of idol worship for Christians? Over the last decade, I have stood by and idly watched as church doors have been shut for Superbowl Sunday. Church schedules have systematically been rearranged and cancelled en mass for the festivities surrounding Superbowl Sunday.
In addition to it interfering with our church worship time, the television commercials that sponsor this football game on Superbowl Sunday have become more and more risqué apiece year and this year was no exception. Just one of the commercials this year had a couple in bed together and advertised “Whatever you do in bed, Seally supports you.” Several other commercials had sexual innuendo and all of them occurred during a time when families were likely to be watching, needlessly exposing kids to sexual themes and advertising.
Now I would state at the very least, Christians should mute the commercials and not grant their kids to be exposed to this kind of talk, but should also not grant them to view the commercials even muted. Adults would do well to limit their own exposure to this kind of advertising junk as well. One way Christians can refrain apiece of these problems is to have someone record the game minus the commercials and watch it after church time. Then Christian families can get together for the game and have fun without all the junk that traditionally goes with it.
If Superbowl day becomes so important to us that we are willing to place up with sexually explicit advertising schemes, willing to rearrange church schedules, and even willing to close the church doors, something is dreadfully wrong with the way we worship our God. Or are we, in fact, worshiping another god with a tiny g?
Superbowl Sunday is a great day for family and friends to get together and have some fun. But when we let that fun day impede on our moral standards and spiritual achievement with God, we are not travel as Christians should walk. We have let the world encroach on us and we have hardly noticed the difference. God’s word tells us that we are to be salt and light in the world of darkness and that the world should know we are different when it sees us. We, as Christians, need to take a stand against ungodly commercials shown on Superbowl Sunday by not purchasing those products or supporting those companies with our hard attained dollars. We also need to place God first and watch the game later.

Scuba divers navigate their course using special purpose fins attached to their feet similar to shoes. Scuba divers also carry portable lighting equipment. Scuba divers who wish to explore the beauty of an underwater ecosystem typically love to carry a camera along during their dives. These special purpose cameras are designed to withstand the heavy pressure when diving at significant depth, allowing the diver to immortalize their scuba diving experience by capturing the beauty of the underwater world on film.
Scuba diving is increasingly becoming a sought-after profession. Multinational oil and gas exploration firms hire scuba divers for technical maintenance of underwater oil/gas pipelines. Similarly, broadband communication firms find scuba divers indispensable when they need to fix a joint in undersea telecommunication cables. Universities hire professional scuba divers to study the marine biology of deep oceans and how it is coping up with increased human activity in the deep seas. Terry Paxton Bradshaw (born September 2, 1948) is a former American football quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (nfl). He played 14 seasons. Brock Lesnar beat Shane Carwin at UFC 116 in round two of their championship fight. The fight consisted of two absolutely different rounds. In round one, Shane Carwin pounded on Brock Lesnar for the whole five minutes of the round. Carwin hit Lesnar with so many hard punches and almost defeated Lesnar. I would not have been surprised if the ref stopped the fight in the first round. At times, Lesnar was taking punishment and was not fighting back. I was surprised the fight was not stopped in the first round. The punishment Shane Carwin dished out to Brock Lesnar in the first round was brutal. I am a UFC fight fan that does not like Brock Lesnar. He is a great fighter, but has more of a WWE attitude that does not belong in the UFC. I hope he learned to respect other UFC fighters because of the punishment he took at UFC 116.
Shane Carwin was absolutely gassed after the first round. He hit Lesnar with bomb after bomb. Lesnar took advantage of the worn our fighter. He took Shane Carwin to the ground. Lesnar smothered Carwin and place a nice arm choke on Shane Carwin. Shane Carwin had no other choice, but to tap out. Brock Lesnar won the fight by submission and retains his UFC heavyweight belt.
This was the ideal UFC heavyweight fight I have ever seen. Both men looked good. Carwin looked good in the first round. Lesnar looked good in the second round. Shane Carwin needs to learn how to fight more than one round. He could have won the fight in the first round. The ref could have stopped the fight. However, this was the fight was for the UFC’s heavyweight title. Fighters are given more leeway. Brock Lesnar is a tough UFC fighter. He took more punishment in the first round than any UFC fighter I have ever seen. He came back in the second round and won the fight.
I am sure there will be a rematch. Carwin will have to train for a long fight. He can't use all his energy up in the first round. Lesnar will have to learn how to not be a human punching bag. Lesnar’s stamina helped him win this fight. I was impressed how he came back after getting his behind kicked. I am sure Lesnar has never taken punishment like he did in the first round of this fight.
The sports bar we were in was full of people. Dana White would be crazy not to schedule a future rematch between Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar. He will make a killing off another event like UFC 116. It was incredible. I hope Brock Lesnar learns how the UFC works. You beat the hell out of apiece other and after the fight, you show apiece other respect. The UFC is not the WWE.
Other fights- Chris Leben beats Yoshihiro Akiyama with a triangle choke near the end of the third round. This fight was back and forth. Leben was almost knocked out in the second round. He came back in the third and took it to Akiyama. The triangle choke sealed the deal for Leben
Chris Lytle submitted Matt Brown with an arm bar in the second round after he was almost choked out in the first round.
Stephan Bo
nnar finally won again. He stopped Krzysztof Soszynski in the second round of their fight. Good for Bonnar. He would have been out of the UFC if he lost this fight.
George Sotiropoulos wins a lopsided decision over Kurt Pellegrino. He out boxed and out grappled the lesser fighter. George might be on his way to a title fight in the near future.
Dana White we would like to see more events like UFC 116. This was a tremendous event. Brock Lesnar might have tapped out Shane Carwin, but this was far from a one sided fight. I would love to see the rematch between these two great MMA fighters.
