How to Learn To Water Ski Swiftly

Do you want to do something fun up at the lake this year? What a great time to learn to water ski. It isn’t hard. I was healthy to get right up my first time and this is what I did. If you are having trouble getting up this is great information.

Instructions

1

The first thing to do is to grappling forward with skis parallel to eachother.

****If you don’t keep skis parallel, you will not be healthy to ski, and ALWAYS wear a LIFE VEST. You can’t do this without one obviously.

2

Hold onto rope tightly in front of you with arms straight out and legs bent.

3

Tell the driver of the boat to accelerate swiftly and keep it at that speed. Around 25 mph is a great speed.

4

Once you are up it is easy, if you place a lot of weight on the left foot, you will go right and vice versus. Many people don’t know this.

5

Okay, now that you have enjoyed your joy-ride, you are probably ready to drop, but are too scared. All you have to do is drop the ski rope and you will slowly go down and will be floating in the water with your life vest.

6

Congratulations on your first ski-give yourself a pat on the back.

Tips & Warnings

Wear a life vest and do not use alcohol. Look at the ads!!!!!!!

Launched in Dallas, Texas, the CPL is considered a pioneer in video game tournaments held in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. The CPL’s tournaments are open to all registrants, but due to the ESRB content rating of some video games, most CPL competitions are restricted to participants age 17 or older.

The CPL has distributed more than US,000,000 in cash prizes. On November 27, 2009, the new CPL announced a partnership with DreamHack to host large-scale gaming tournaments and programs in the Shanghai Expo’s Swedish pavilion. According to CBS news, “The capability to broadcast from within the game absolutely changes the way people view videogame competitions.” “If Gamecaster has its way, videogame competitions will become just as much a part of American TV viewing as the SuperBowl (sic) or the World Series.

“In 2006, Gamecaster hosted the Battlefield 2142 Invitational. The tournament was aired on the Dish Network. Players had the opportunity to compete on the pre-release version of Electronic Arts Battlefield 2142. The game is played on a rectangular field of grass or green artificial turf, with a goal in the middle of apiece of the short ends. The goal of the game is to score by driving the ball into the opposing goal. In general play, the goalkeepers are the only players granted to touch the ball with their hands or arms, while the field players typically use their feet to kick the ball into position, occasionally using their torso or head to intercept a ball in midair. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time and/or a penalty shootout, depending on the format of the competition.

The Laws of the Game published in England by the Football Association in 1863 remain the basis for the way the sport is played today. Football is governed internationally by FIFA which organises the World Cup apiece four years.

Game Play:-

Football is played in accordance with a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game. The game is played using a single spherical ball, known as the football. Two teams of eleven players apiece compete to get the ball into the other team’s goal (between the posts and under the bar), thereby scoring a goal. The team that has scored more goals at the end of the game is the winner; if both teams have scored an equal number of goals then the game is a draw. Each team is led by a captain.

The primary law is that players other than goalkeepers might not deliberately handle the ball with their hands or arms during play, though they do use their hands during a throw-in restart. Even though players usually use their feet to move the ball around, they might use any part of their bodies other than their hands or arms. Within normal play, all players are free to play the ball in any direction and move throughout the pitch, though the ball can't be received in an offside position.

In typical game play, players attempt to create goal-scoring opportunities through individual control of the ball, such as by dribbling, passing the ball to a team-mate, and by taking shots at the goal, which is guarded by the opposing goalkeeper. Opposing players might try to regain control of the ball by intercepting a pass or through tackling the opponent in possession of the ball; however, physical contact between opponents is restricted. Football is generally a free-flowing game, with play stopping only when the ball has left the field of play or when play is stopped by the referee for an infringement of the rules. After a stoppage, play recommences with a specified restart.

At a professional level, most matches produce only a few goals. For example, the 2005–06 season of the English Premier League produced an average of 2.48 goals per match. The Laws of the Game do not specify any player positions other than goalkeeper, but a number of specialised roles have evolved. Broadly, these include three main categories: strikers, or forwards, whose main task is to score goals; defenders, who specialise in preventing their opponents from scoring; and midfielders, who dispossess the opposition and keep possession of the ball in order to pass it to the forwards on their team. Players in these positions are referred to as outfield players, in order to distinguish them from the single goalkeeper. These positions are further subdivided according to the area of the field in which the player spends most time. For example, there are central defenders, and left and right midfielders. The ten outfield players might be arranged in any combination. The number of players in apiece position determines the style of the team’s play; more forwards and fewer defenders creates a more aggressive and offensive-minded game, while the reverse creates a slower, more defensive style of play. While players typically spend most of the game in a specific position, there are few restrictions on player movement, and players can switch positions at any time. The layout of a team’s players is known as a formation. Defining the team’s formation and tactics is usually the prerogative of the team’s manager.

History:-

The modern rules of football are based on the mid-19th century efforts to standardise the widely varying forms of football played at the public schools of England.

The Cambridge Rules, first drawn up at Cambridge University in 1848, were particularly influential in the development of subsequent codes, including association football. The Cambridge Rules were written at Trinity College, Cambridge, at a meeting attended by representatives from Eton, Harrow, Rugby, Winchester and Shrewsbury schools. They were not universally adopted. During the 1850s, many clubs unconnected to schools or universities were formed throughout the English-speaking world, to play various forms of football. Some came up with their own distinct codes of rules, most notably the Sheffield Football Club, formed by former public school pupils in 1857, which led to formation of a Sheffield FA in 1867. In 1862, John Charles Thring of Uppingham School also devised an influential set of rules.

These ongoing efforts contributed to the formation of The Football Association (The FA) in 1863, which first met on the morning of 26 October 1863 at the Freemasons’ Tavern in Great Queen Street, London. The only school to be represented on this occasion was Charterhouse. The Freemason’s Tavern was the setting for five more meetings between October and December, which eventually produced the first comprehensive set of rules. At the final meeting, the first FA treasurer, the representative from Blackheath, withdrew his club from the FA over the removal of two draft rules at the previous meeting: the first granted for running with the ball in hand; the second for obstructing such a run by hacking (kicking an opponent in the shins), tripping and holding. Other English rugby football clubs followed this lead and did not join the FA, or subsequently left the FA and instead in 1871 formed the Rugby Football Union. The eleven remaining clubs, under the charge of Ebenezer Cobb Morley, went on to ratify the original thirteen laws of the game. These rules included handling of the ball by “marks” and the demand of a crossbar, rules which prefabricated it remarkably similar to Victorian rules football being developed at that time in Australia. The Sheffield FA played by its own rules until the 1870s with the FA absorbing some of its rules until there was tiny difference between the games.

Today, football is played at a professional level all over the world. Millions of people regularly go to football stadiums to follow their favourite teams, while billions more watch the game on TV or on the internet. A very massive number of people also play football at an amateur level. According to a survey conducted by FIFA published in 2001, over 240 million people from more than 200 countries regularly play football. While football has the highest global TV audience in sport, its easy rules and minimal equipment stipulations at amateur level, have no doubt aided its growth in terms of participation.

In many parts of the world football evokes great passions and plays an important role in the life of individual fans, local communities, and even nations. The Côte d’Ivoire national football team helped secure a truce to the nation’s civil war in 2006 and it helped further reduce tensions between government and rebel forces in 2007 by playing a match in the rebel capital of Bouaké, an occasion that brought both armies together peacefully for the first time. By contrast, football is widely considered to be the final immediate cause in the Football War in June 1969 between El Salvador and Honduras. The sport also exacerbated tensions at the beginning of the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s, when a match between Dinamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade devolved into rioting in March 1990.

Laws

There are seventeen laws in the official Laws of the Game. The same laws are designed to apply to all levels of football, even though certain modifications for groups such as juniors, seniors, women and people with physical disabilities are permitted. The laws are often framed in broad terms, which grant flexibility in their application depending on the nature of the game. The Laws of the Game are published by FIFA, but are maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB), not FIFA itself. In addition to the seventeen laws, numerous IFAB decisions and other directives contribute to the regulation of football. The most complex of the laws is offside. The offside law limits the capability of attacking players to receive the ball when closer to the opponent’s goal line than: the ball itself; the second-to-last defending player (which can include the goalkeeper); and the half-way line.

Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:
A computer
Internet skills
Spreadsheet software
Time to commit YOURSELF to this project
Time enough to hear back from third celebrations to organize.

Step 11
You need to go to an world wide web website which they connect people from schools. Examples are Classmates and Reunion. You need to either sign yourself up or log yourself in and then look for reunions page. You might have to go to your school and school year you graduated from to do this. you then search to see if any of your classmates are already a Reunion Organizer for the year you graduated. If no one signed up then you sign yourself up.
If someone in your class has signed up, then you can email them through that website to see if they need committee members still. You can recommend these other steps to that Reunion Organizer. If you don’t care to see if the other mortal needs help in the committee, then you might stop reading this article.
But, to be listed as a reunion organizer you MUST follow this step for as many world wide web web sites you can find which connects people of schools they graduated from.

Step 22
Next, create a website geared towards your reunion. Go to web sites which help you create a website of your own. I personally created mine on Tripod.
It has zillions of designs for all kinds of reasons you wish to create a website. You can make multiple pages for your site and use their all their basic tools for free. It only charges you to use technical tools for your website. Right away, I prefabricated two pages for the website. I had a Home Page, the first page, saying what the site is about and why. I also had a second page of a COMPLETE LIST of all the classmates that graduated in Might of 1989 from our school. I am one to keep everything, a pack rat, and I had in my senior yearbook, the official Commencement Exercises Pamphlet which all of the guests received. And I typed all 500+ classmates on that pamphlet!! This is actually a GREAT intent to do because first of all, you can familiarize yourself with classmate obloquy for the first time in years and secondly other classmates who look at your site can tell you if they know the whereabouts of other classmates.
When you are done with your website, you can save it and add more pages as much as you can or want at a later time. On Tripod, when publishing your website, you can select to either advertise your website on search engines or not. Personally, I selected not to advertise. Before you sign out, you should cut and paste the URL of that page to your “Favorites” or else your “Bookmark”. I know that Tripod, will send you an email right afterwards with the URL link FOR YOUR WEBSITE.

Step 33
After that, go back to ALL of the world wide web web sites you signed up as Reunion Organizer and create an “announcement” or an online “event”. You need to tell people that YOU are the Reunion Organizer for the class. In the declaration / online event message you need to include the fact that you just created a website “..geared towards our reunion” and the URL link of your website. You might want to include if you need volunteers to place a committee together. Also, include in this message if or if not your website is advertised on search engines. A lot of people will just adopt that if it is published on the web, it must be on search engines. And that’s false. You will have a bunch of people emailing you for the link over and over again because you didn’t tell them to save it under their favorites or bookmark the URL.
After you do that, look carefully at EVERY connections website you joined as a Reunion Organizer. Look and see if they have extra tool pages for the Reunion Organizer. I know that Classmates, for example, gives EVERY listed Organizer a page to view EVERYONE who signed up for your class’ s contact information.
And so what I did with Excel software, I prefabricated a spreadsheet FOR MYSELF AND ANYONE WHO WORKED WITH ME ON THE COMMITTEE of ALL THE CLASSMATES AGAIN. The columns were the following; First Name, Madden Last Name, New Last Name, Street Address, City, Say (or Area if not in USA), Zip-code, Email Address, Home Phone Number, Work Phone Number. Mobile Phone Number. And then I realized that Excel is prefabricated for mathematical charts! So, I decided to prioritize by Say and Area and I totaled up the groups. And because I started this list just by writing down all the alumni member’s obloquy from the pamphlet, the first group totaled in a row were “Missing Alumni Members”. After that, I had totaled rows of Say and Areas from “A” to “Z”. Also, Excel lets you do projects that might need more than one spreadsheet. So, I prefabricated another one. And what it was that Spreadsheet two was the row number you could find a specific classmate. And I did that because if a missing alumni member is found or if a classmate moved says or areas before the reunion, I was gonna have to cut and paste rows on spreadsheet one. And, to keep track of people on spreadsheet one, that’s what spreadsheet two was for. I mean, it happened all the time!

Step 44
What you wanna do next, is contact the last reunion committee members. And contact ALL OF THE MEMBERS. You need to ask them ONE QUESTION. You need to ask them if a bank statement was ever created and saved of money not spent and left over. I saw this on Classmates Organizer page I think and committees REALLY do this. And the need to ask apiece member is because some of them will not remember. If you have a bank statement for your class’ s reunion, then most of the headache is over with. There’s people at companies that help you plan (ie, Reunion Planning Companies); you might rent celebration equipment or hire a band or hire a DJ or a photographer / video person. You also have lodging and celebration rooms to block for your group. And if your committee goes into this without any money, you need to think of ways to raise money and lower hotel rates, for instance. budgeting is for a math mortal and a creative mortal to deal with. The creativeness, fundraising; sponsorship levels to think up; whatever. Budgeting is ALWAYS a HUGE HASSEL for everyone. Keep this in mind as well. You have people coming to this event that needs to think of how they are going to get the money to travel to the reunion as well as reunion tickets.

Tips & Warnings
Here is what I was going to do. I KNEW from my website which I created and a questionnaire on it.., that most of the classmates who took the questionnaire wanted a summer reunion. So, I thought inexpensively FOR EVERYONE!! Only summer school during the days would be in session and not on Saturday nor Sunday. And there is a huge city park RIGHT NEXT TO our high school. So, I thought of Saturday and Sunday events already. Saturday would be just for the classmate and one guest. And Sunday would be for the mediate family members. The events would begin in the afternoon of Saturday and meet in the cafeteria. Our cafeteria was ‘L” shaped and in the middle we had a booth like space for like selling prom tickets during lunch and what have you. So, Committee members could sit or stand behind the booth area and seating would just be the folded down school lunch room tables they ALREADY had. And it was going to be a fun afternoon of tiny quizzes and scavenger hunt. The quiz could have been anything from who did what when to when was Senior Skip Day? And the scavenger hunt was going to include, “Ok…, go find your locker in senior year”. It was going to be fun and cheap. Then, we were gonna ALL head to our gymnasium. And again, seating was just going to be the bleachers, free. And our seniors of sports, in our senior year, were going to just play a tiny game for the rest of the class. It would have been fun to see if basketball players could still make baskets and if wrestlers could still pin people down after twenty years!! And I was gonna have prizes for the people doing the things in the cafeteria and for the sports people, I was gonna have ACTUAL SCHOOL jerseys of the jersey style they have THIS YEAR but in the size of the player in 2009 with their 1989 number on the jersey. THAT NIGHT, I was going to have the formal – also located at the school. But the formal, it being summer, was going to be on the football field. In the first place, you already have decorations with the school mascot scoreboard. And all you’d have to rent out is a tent to cover if it rains and chairs and tables and tableware. I thought of a DJ by a local broadcasting station. That would, I guess combine with sponsorship because you know that broadcasting stations DJ shows at different events ALL THE TIME. You know a football field, its huge enough to have dinner at one end and diversion at another! And I was thinking of buffet style dinner of catering. And then, Sunday afternoon, the
When making your list of ALL OFFICIAL GRADUATES on the day you graduated, GO BY the OFFICAL Commencement Exercise’ s Pamphlet. AND THIS RULE IS FOR EVERYTHING from confirming who is email you about it to making your spreadsheet. In the first place, if you go by year books students might have missed picture day of senior year. And finally, there are people listed in web sites such as Classmates and Reunion that DID NOT graduate when you graduated. And these people just signed up in your class!! I had a surprisingly amount of people that had to attend summer school in the summer after we graduated because they were a few credits short. And then I had less than a handful of people who went to our school but had to leave and go to another school due to a move. And I just had some people listed that stated that they didn’t go to our school they just knew people that did in 1989!! Basically, they just wanted to crash a party!!
When you look at lodging, note their extras. See if the place has shuttle service. There are places that have shuttles to airports and train stations for a fee. And there are lodging that has FREE shuttle service to places within 5 miles. Also, look and see if they offer a free continental breakfast or not. Note that they have coffee makers in apiece room. And, for families, note what telegram channels they offer or indoor pools or game rooms or even baby sitting service or cribs. I mean, there are tons of tiny things you need to look for when looking at lodging as well.

Do you believe cheerleading to be a sport like football or basketball? While you read through my article you will read the reasons why cheerleading is considered to be a sport and how it is the most injured sport for women.

First up is the definition of cheerleading. Cheerleading is stated to be a sport that uses organized routines prefabricated from elements of tumbling, dance, jumps, and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games and matches or compete at cheerleading competitions. So many Americans do not thinking cheerleading is a sport because a sport is usually played with a ball or an activity that the NCAA says is a sport. Cheerleaders do not use balls and they don’t manipulate objects but some other sports that don’t use balls or manipulate objects are wrestling, swimming, boxing, diving, Ice-skating, track and cross-country. Some other athletes have no intent what it takes to be a cheerleader. Now a definition of a sport is an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. Cheerleading does involve physical exertion and skill and is also a physical activity that is governed by rules under which a winner can be declared.

Second is that cheerleading is the number one cause of serious injuries to women. Cheerleaders do not wear conserving gear and they get hurt. Emergency room visits for cheerleading are five times the number than any other sport. Over the past 25 years high school cheerleaders accounted for 65.1 percent of all catastrophic sport injuries. A major bourgeois in the percentage total is the change in the cheerleading activity because cheerleading involves gymnastic type stunts. Throwing girls up in the air, doing flips and jumping off the ground that’s going to cause some injuries now. Between 1982 and 2007 there were 103 fatal disabling or serious injuries recorded among female high school athletes with the vast majority of 67 occurring with cheerleading. Each year, more females are severely injured in cheerleading than athletes in any other sport. In 2002 in the united says there were 22,900 women athletes admitted to the hospital. A lot of schools don’t think cheerleading is a sport so the girls usually don’t have the proper matting that should be used and the girls seem to use whatever space they can use even if the ceilings aren’t the height they need them to be.

Last but not least why cheerleading is a sport. Cheerleaders work just as hard as any other athlete out there and train just as much. You should try to go out there and throw a girl seven feet in the air and catching her or even superior be that girl in the air and get thrown and have to do a double twist down. Cheerleading is far much more that just standing on the side lines and cheering, cheerleading really just no longer involves that – it includes chants, cheers, routines, jumps, tumbling, gymnastics, partner stunts and pyramid building. College and high school cheerleaders compete for national championships against other squads. They risk terrible injury. They get recruited for college scholarships. And, in some cases, they place in more practice hours than the football team. Cheerleading takes just as much dedication and skill as any other sport, sometimes it takes more. Today, cheerleading involves skills which require the strength of football, the grace of dance, and the capability of gymnastics.

Hopefully one day cheerleading will become as well known a sport as football and basketball and even appear in the Olympics since cheerleaders are just as athletic and physically fit as those involved in the more accepted sports. Cheerleading is a physical activity that is governed by rules and which a winner will be declared. Also don’t forget that cheerleading is the number one cause of serious sport injuries to women. Cheerleaders are just as athletic and physically fit as those involved in the more accepted sports. The sport of cheerleading would be equivalent to juggling 50 porcupines. If you can do that without getting injured then you can state that cheerleading is not a hazardous sport.

Cheerleading practice and workouts are much like those of other sports. Because cheerleading follows each aspect defined under the word sport, it is my belief that cheerleadi ng should be defined as an actual sport. Cheerleading is a sport and after reading my article I hope you believe that cheerleading is a sport also.

Ok…we have a billion dollar stadium, built for the ideal football team in the world, right?
Don’t get me wrong, the stadium itself is worth a visit, but the calibre of football played there ,by the Cowboys, this year,  is not. Cowboy’s stadium is definitely one of the biggest, busiest, loudest and impressive indoor stadiums ever built. In fact there is so much going on, you forget that there is also a football game happening. The huge screen is awesome!….although, sometimes, a bit distracting.

For those of us who expected so much more from our beloved Cowboys, what a letdown! This was the year to get back to the superbowl in our own house!
I hope I am wrong, but, this will not happen, this year, anyway.

What is the solution?  Coaching?..maybe, or maybe Jerry should pay his players based on performance.  If this were in place now, most could not make enough to place food on the table. I just envision Smith, Lilly, Staubach, White, Pugh, Too Tall and all the other Cowboy greats,  would have given their eye teeth to play in this marvelous stadium!

With Romo out of the picture, for a long while, maybe it is time to look for another quarterback. With all the current quarterback injuries, a Vince Young type, might be in order for the Cowboys.

 Maybe Jerry has the answer.

The odds of the metropolis Cowboys  making the playoffs this year?……… astronomical !

Wrestling sport

Wrestling is the sport of one Man fighting against another without the use of fists. The goal is to fell the opponent to the ground striking. Many forms of wrestling exist but the most favourite amateur forms are Freestyle and Graeco Roman. The main difference between them is that in freestyle. Wrestlers might apply holds on the opponent’s legs or use their own legs to trip throw the opponent, and to apply holds. In Graeco, Roman wrestling holds on the body below the region and the use of the legs to hold or trip an opponent are prohibited.

*Freestyle wrestling

*Graeco Roman wrestling

Sumo sport

Sumo is a Asian form of wrestling competition. It takes in a 12 feet (3.66 m) diameter circle. The winner of a sumo bout is mainly determined by two rules.

a)      The first wrestler to touch the ground with any part of his body other than the soles of his feet loses.

b)      The first wrestler to touch the ground outside the circle loses. Sumo wrestlers are very massive and take vast amounts of food to increase their weight and body size.

*The sole costume of a sumo wrestler is the mawashi. It is a wide silk belt wrong around the region with a section passed between the legs and pulled up between the buttocks. The mawashi is what an opposing wrestler normally grasps during a fi9ght.

Sumo wrestling: – the competitors’ centre of gravity must be as low as possible. So they take a massive amount of rice to get as heavy as possible.

Rugby game

Rugby originated at rugby school, England, when a pupil picked up the ball during a game of foot ball and ran towards the opponent’s goal. The intent caught on and spread to other public schools. Rugby is played with an oval ball. The goal of the game is to out or carry the ball toward the opponent’s goles line, and kick it through the goal or carry it over the goal line for a core. Rugby is now played in two forms: rugby league and rugby union. There are 15 players in apiece side rugby union and 13 in rugby. In rugby, the players must always pass backwards.

Here this day we take a look at the Madden NFL 10 Chicago Bears player ratings on the upcoming game. One of the main features about this years version is the updated progression for all of the players. This means that when they get older their rankings will decrease and for the younger players as they get superior anticipate them to improve more than in the past. So looking at the Madden NFL 10 Chicago Bears player ratings one will have to try and build up the roster.

I’d state that not only for the Madden NFL 10 Chicago Bears player ratings but the team in general diplomatist Cutler is gonna be crucial. After all the team gave up so much to bring him in and have a franchise quarterback for the first time in a long time. On the game diplomatist Culter and Matt Forte are gonna be the main cogs with a 87 and 89 overall ranking respectively. For the offensive line both Orlando Pace and Olin Kreutz get a 87 overall as well.

Next up we speak about the Madden NFL 10 Chicago Bears player ratings for the defensive side of the ball. The keys here are that the secondary and defensive line are much lower than I had expected to be honest. Tommie Harris is rated a 92 overall but the everyone else on the defensive line is rated an 83 or lower. The highest rated defensive back is Charles Tillman with an 82. But the linebackers are seemingly a strength here with Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher being a 95 and 94 overall respectively.

My new blog is

http://wondersandparodies.blogspot.com/

Even though it might seem easy to turn on the camera and begin waving it around the results are not always what we expect. There are a few simple techniques which will produce results to enjoy for years to come.

Cradle the camera in the palm of your hands

Using a side strap restricts your freedom of movement and can make shots judder. Holding a camera in the palm grants a wide range of movement left, right, up down. It is also smoother for when you achievement with the camera.

Avoid commenting on everything you see

Firstly a commentary on the obvious is very annoying. If needed words can be added later. If you want to edit a video, slicing several scenes together with speaking is tricky and might restrict what you can use. Also if someone states something funny do not laugh, it will distract viewers and could spoil the joke. You are likely to be the closest to the the mike and will drown out the mortal being filmed.

Interviewing

If asking someone questions try to stand slightly to one side of the camera. It is distracting to an audience if someone looks directly into a lens. It is also distracting if they are looking to the far left or far right.

Filming on the move

I will use the example of snowboarding but this can apply to many sports. When snowboarding I have found it far more exciting to capture someone whilst boarding alongside them. If you’re in one position the most interesting part is when a boarder comes close to you, the shot gets duller as they move away from the camera. Unless they’re going over a huge jump which if you follow them, could go very badly. When filming on the move like this it is ideal to hold the camera with you fingers having your thumb on the cameras top.

Head cameras

You might wish to use a head cam, however this does have one major drawback that you have to constantly look at what you’re filming. This might be OK when directly behind them but not when you’re alongside or in front. After all even the most seasoned snowboarder needs to look out for ice, trees and skiers with a dubious sense of spatial awareness.

If you are uncomfortable holding a massive video camera whilst speeding down a mountain most digital cameras have a video mode. Many of these give you a decent calibre and have the added bonus of fitting easily in your pocket.
